The distorted Island Heavy Metal music and community in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico has a very unique metal scene, this December 18 2014 history will be made as Professor Nelson Varas (Puerto Rico Heavy Metal Studies) together with a talented team, Sigrid Mendoza, Eliut Rivera  are behind the first  documentary film about Puerto Rico's metal scene.

With years of research this film narrates the history and struggles of the metal bands through the years, and Aura Azul is part of it.

The band released their fourth album "Tetrad: The four blood moons" via digital download.

Aura Azul reveals title for their new album in 2014.

The band is currently in the studio recording their third studio album "Tetrad: The four blood moons" to be release under Total Steel Records this Fall/Winter 2014.

This is their first album with the new singer Gabriel Velez after the much acclaimed in Japan "Beyond the doors of time"
